WotC has decided that maybe there's something to this whole D&D computer game market and they're looking to capitalize on the resounding success of Baldurs Gate 3. Hasbro and WotC are giving more than $1 billion to the four video game studios that Hasbro owns to begin development of D&D games on the PC.. It may not be Baldur's Gate 4, but it will at least be based on a gaming system. Then again, Hasbro and WotC have a history of canceling games, so we may only get a few screenshots before we hear the bad news.

The modding community should be aware that WotC tried to move from there. A popular version of their open game license Which allowed you to create your own scenarios without paying the privileged ones. A great outcry causes them to abandon it in favor of a new one.
