We love HP's ultraportable Dragonfly Pro laptop, and now it's $600 off
Ultraportable laptops usually command a premium price. And HP's 14-inch Dragonfly Pro certainly fits into that category, starting at a typically hefty $1399 for this version. We reviewed last year.. But today B&H Photo is cutting $600 off that price, bringing it down. A much more palatable $799.
The Dragonfly Pro is HP's premier consumer laptop design, with a sleek .72-inch slim body made of aluminum and magnesium with a bright 14-inch IPS touchscreen as standard. But it's also a surprisingly practical machine. While it's a bit heavier than other laptops in this category at 2.42 pounds, it's packing some serious tech thanks to a Ryzen 7 CPU, a generous 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.
HP didn't skimp on the trim, either. Reviewer Brendan Neustadt was impressed with the laptop's great speakers and solid battery life, and it has a 5-megapixel webcam with an infrared sensor for Windows Hello face unlock. If the laptop has a weakness, it's the port selection: The three USB-C ports are flexible on their own, but the lack of USB-A, dedicated video out, and headphone jack means you'll probably travel with it. would like to A USB-C dongle in your bag.
The B&H image has no end of sale date, which means it's likely limited to select units. This is a killer sale on a killer laptop, so if you're interested, grab this deal before it disappears.
