Today's NYT Connections Hints and Answer – Help for May 10, #334 – CNET

Responses are required by May 10. The New York Times Connection Puzzle? to me, Wordle Vocabulary test is high, but Connections It's more of a brain teaser. You are given 16 words and asked to put them into four groups that are connected in some way. Sometimes they're obvious, but the game editor knows how to trick you by using words that can fit into more than one group.

How to run connections

Easy to play. It's hard to win. Look at the 16 words and mentally assign them to corresponding groups of four. Click on the four words that you think go together. Groups are coded by color, although you don't know what happens until you see the answers. The yellow group is the easiest, then green, then blue, and purple is the hardest. Look at the words carefully, and think of related terms. Sometimes a conjunction relates to only one part of a word. At one time, four words were grouped because each began with a rock band name, including “Rushmore” and “Journeyman.”
