Tens of thousands of overworked employees at China's biggest tech companies have quit their jobs in recent years, as the industry has lost its growth momentum.– – By the end of 2023, China's BATs – Baidu, Alibaba and Tencent – had a combined total of 364,477 employees, a drop of about 25,000 from a year earlier.
