The AI ​​PC era has taken every part of the tech industry by storm, with the arrival of AI-based features to improve user experiences. At CES 2024, we got a showcase of what to expect with upcoming AI laptops, and it looks like all the major companies will be on board the Snapdragon X CPU bandwagon. Windows report It has revealed that Dell plans to release its Inspiron 14 7441 Plus and XPS 13 934 laptops soon, which are expected to feature up to the Snapdragon X Elite X1E80100 CPU, the fastest to launch soon. is one of the SKUs. The chip has a 12-core count with a maximum frequency of 3.42 GHz.

The Dell Inspiron 14 7441 Plus laptop is expected to come with the new Windows 11 Preview Build, which will get an “AI revamp”, including a dedicated Explorer and more. Interestingly, the laptop will be released as a base configuration with 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory, following Microsoft's previously disclosed guidelines for AI PC platforms.

The Dell Inspiron series has seen a more “slim look” with the latest iteration and comes with rounded edges for optimal portability. The laptop will also feature a dedicated Copilot key, which will be interesting to see, as it's really a first-of-its-kind feature.

Apart from the Inspiron 14 7441, Dell also plans to release the new XPS 13 9345 laptop, which will be the firm's high-end professional laptop. It hasn't been confirmed whether the laptop will feature a Snapdragon X Elite SoC or an Intel Core Ultra CPU, but either way the two will take the XPS platform to new heights.

Joining Dell in the party is none other than Lenovo, as a new leak has revealed that Lenovo's upcoming IdeaPad Slim 5 will feature Snapdragon Plus CPUs.
