Intel’s Core Ultra 200 desktop CPU Lineup To Feature 285K, 265K, 245K Unlocked SKUs

Intel is gearing up to introduce its latest lineup of desktop CPUs, known as Arrow Lake-S. These new processors will be part of the Core Ultra 200 series and will come in various grades and versions, including K, F, and possibly T models.

It is expected that Intel will slightly tweak the name of its desktop CPU product. Renowned hardware leaker Raichu, with a track record of accurate intel leaks, shared insight into the upcoming lineup. The next-generation desktop CPU series is likely to feature the following K-Series unlocked models:

– Core Ultra 285K
– Core Ultra 265K
– Core Ultra 245K

The absence of the 290K part is notable, but the names may sound familiar. Intel has used very similar names for mobile SKUs in the past. However, this time, we're focusing on desktop CPUs. Raicho didn't discuss the Core Ultra tiers, but if we assume that only these three parts are launch SKUs (Intel usually launches three K and KF SKUs), it's likely that the 265K will belong to the Core Ultra 7 models. Is.

Additionally, there is a lineup of non-K models called “OC Locked”, which boast a 65W TDP. This group is expected to include SKUs like 275, 255 and 240. The latter has been mentioned earlier and will also be available with the F variant, which lacks integrated graphics.

The upcoming series will require new motherboards with 800 series chipsets and LGA-1851 sockets. Unlike the Core Ultra 200V lunar leak models, the desktop version has yet to appear in a leak. So, despite Raicho's confidence in the leak, it's wise to approach it with caution. In fact, it's possible that SKUs like the 290K may still debut, possibly as new KS versions. Would that be more logical? It is difficult to determine. The next desktop lineup will mark the most significant name change to Intel's desktop portfolio in more than a decade.
