ASUS Introduces 5×4 inch NUC 14 PRO+ Featuring Up To Core Ultra 9 185H

ASUS has launched the NUC 14 Pro, a new model of the NUC 14 Pro, following Intel's core NUC line of mini-PCs now with an exclusive ASUS design. This new generation switches from the traditional 4×4-inch chassis to a 5×4-inch form factor. ASUS currently offers four NUC series products, all using the Meteor Lake (Core Ultra 100H) series.

The ASUS NUC 14 Pro+ comes with several Intel Core Ultra processor options, including the Ultra 9 185H, Ultra 7 165H vPro, Ultra 7 155H, Ultra 5 135H, and Ultra 5 125H. This means the 14 Pro+ can be configured up to Core Ultra 9, the only model in the series that uses a higher TDP by default.

The NUC 14 Pro+ is available in a single chassis design measuring 144x112x41mm. In contrast, the original 14 Pro was offered in two sizes: 117x112x54mm (tall) and 117x112x37mm (slim), with the taller version accommodating a 2.5″ drive, a feature not present in the 14 Pro+. . For storage, the NUC 14 Pro+ includes one M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD slot and one M.2 2242 PCIe x4 NVMe SSD slot.

ASUS NUC 14 Pro+ offers various connectivity options, such as integrated Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. It includes a single Intel I226V 2.5G LAN port. On the front (side), it has one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C (20 Gbps) port and two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports. Rear I/O ports include two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, two HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) ports, one RJ45 LAN port, one DC-in are port, and the Kensington lock slot.

The NUC 14 Pro+ comes with a 150W adapter for the U9 model and a 120W adapter for the U5/U7 models. Prices start at €646 for the base model, which includes a Core Ultra 5 125H processor, without memory or storage. The highest-priced configuration is €1391, with a high-end Meteor Lake CPU, 1TB of storage, and 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory.
