ASUS' Predator Z57 monitor was a highlight. The Firm's CES 2024 Experience, and the huge form factor, combined with the on-board features, make the Z57 a highly anticipated option among consumers. Interestingly, Acer has decided to be more competitive with its upcoming ultrawide release, dropping the price of the Predator Z57 from $2,499 to $1,999.99, a reduction of nearly $500. Which is pretty impressive considering the price-to-performance ratio. Here, and this move will definitely make the Predator Z57 a much more compelling offering in the markets.

Moving on to the specifications, the LG Predator Z57 monitor has a 57-inch ultrawide screen with a dual UHD resolution of 7680 x 2160 pixels. The curved panel also has a curvature rating of 1000R and a 32:9 aspect ratio. The monitor features an impressive Mini-LED display with 2,304 local dimming zones to ensure excellent quality output as the panel is not small.

Additionally, the Acer Predator Z57 monitor has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, which is not too high but in the best zone. As for certifications, the monitor comes with VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, and to top it all off, a 98% color gamut rating of DCI-P3 also gives its users a crisp quality option.

Acer has not yet revealed the full specifications of the Predator Z57, and none of us know the release date. The drop in US prices is certainly a plus for consumers in the region, but it has not been confirmed whether the discount also applies to EU markets. Given that the monitor has debuted in multiple markets, we expect more details to surface soon.
