ACER Now Selling Radeon RX 7700/7800 XT Predator & Nitro GPUs In The US

Some might argue that Acer only recently introduced their Radeon GPUs, but that's not entirely true. Acer debuted the Radeon RX 7600 non-XT some time ago, marking its entry into the DIY market with Radeon GPUs. For months, Acer fans may have questioned whether this was the end of the company's presence in the competitive GPU market. Fortunately, this was not the case.

Earlier this year, Acer unveiled several updates to its Radeon GPU lineup. Along with the launch of the Navi 32-based Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7700 XT, albeit a bit later than other companies, Acer also introduced enhancements for the Radeon RX 7900 GRE and RX 7600 XT. These offerings hit the global market in January.

Fortunately, there was no long delay in making these cards available in the retail channel this time. Navig currently has all of these cards listed for sale, although some are still out of stock.

The RX 7900 GRE and 7800 XT models are currently being sold at a slight premium over the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP), which is less than ideal for a newcomer to the GPU market. Nonetheless, Acer has shown a strong commitment to offering price cuts for its Intel Arc models. It is highly likely that lower prices will be available soon.

The Predator Bifrost models stand out for their interesting design, with a thick 3-slot construction and large triple fan coolers. Such a design is usually associated with high-end models like the 7900 XT/XTX, yet it is currently offered for the 7900 GRE and RX 7800 XT series, which are roughly 260W GPUs. Barring any issues with the cooler, these cards are expected to offer excellent cooling performance. Unfortunately, despite most of the cards being available, there were no reviews. Acer seems to be less willing to provide Radeon GPU samples than their approach with the Arc.
